Miles Jesu - Latin for Soldier of Jesus

Miles Jesu is a form of consecrated life in the Catholic church for the laity, known as an Ecclesial Family of Consecrated Life, whose purpose is "to instill Catholic ideals and goals in the world to further the Kingdom of Christ, making HIM the center of all human life".
This peaceful, scerene chapel is located on the southwest corner of 20th St. and Baseline Rd. in Phoenix.
Miles Jesu is active in many countries around the world, servicing the needs of the physically and spiritually poor. Miles Jesu is both Latin and Eastern Rite.


The citrus orchard that surrounds the chapel is plentiful and has a beautiful view of South Mountain.

This cutie is around all the time, just watching over the place and enjoying the worshipers that visit Miles Jesu.
