Houma/New Orleans, Louisiana

I loved touring the swamp! For this Arizona girl it was freezing but beautiful!

These guys were about 6-7 years old. The big guys were hibernating.

Wow was that spanish moss pretty swaying through the breeze.

This plantation house, hidden behind the trees, was interesting, a little eerie and breath taking all at the same time.
I was amazed with the single patches of red leaves growing amongst the green. It was quite captivating.

Happy New Year

Welcome 2009!!! I can't believe it's here. 2008 went by so quickly. One of the biggest highlights of the year for me was building a closer relationship with our Lord through the ministry of photography. I am truly blessed!

Thought for the month: We should be constantly making resolutions to improve our lives. In doing so we are consistent in our openess to grow and become more than what we already are. (Kat)

Please pray for all those who struggle with addictions of every kind; that through God's grace they will find the strength to rehabilitate and live full, healthy lives.

God bless you!!!

December is finally here!

I love the month of December! Not only because of the holidays but because of the cooler weather, the cheerful, giving spirit of most people and most of all because it's time to remember and celebrate the birthday of Our Lord Jesus.

Thought for the month: "Be still and know that I am God" Matt 11:28

Please pray for all those who have no shelter, food or anyone to love or pray for them.

Thanks to all those who have served, are serving and will serve!!!

FREEDOM IS NOT FREE!!

1st Way of Maricopa County

His Excellency, Bishop Thomas Olmsted

Mr. Chris Muglia

This young lady, "L", is truly a remarkable person. She saw a press release on television about 1st Way and took it upon herself to collect over $300 from her friends and neighbors to donate to the 1st Way cause. We should all have her giving heart!

What a beauty!!!

Pregnancy Crisis Center

Educating women about pregnancy, promoting life and providing help is what 1st Way is all about. The work this organization does is wonderful.

It's turkey month!!!!!

Happiness keeps you sweet
(so do a couple of oreos and some candy corn),
trials keep you strong,
sorrows keep you human,
success keeps you glowing,
but only loved ones keep you going!!!
STAY CLOSE TO THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE
AND MAKE SURE THEY KNOW IT!
Please pray for all those who go without shelter, food, or LOVE.
